Courtney & Dom's fabulous wedding at The Bella Vista In Littleborough, Greater Manchester.

This is the most local wedding we've ever shot, less than a mile from home as the crow flies. A stark contrast in distance to the wedding I'd shot the week before in the South of France - however it was just as hot. I really must give props to both the bridal party and the groomsmen for committing to their outfits so well - I should have asked the chaps if the kilts helped or hindered.

Bella Vista has a really interesting vibe, I really love that rather than going super soft with creams and off-whites, they've opted for sharp white everywhere. In the sun it feels more like Tuscany than North Manchester. As the evening sun dropped we were gifted some gorgeous shots on the balcony as the lads sparked up stogies. I also really enjoyed the couples decision to deliver their speeches in the social area, rather than seated. These are some of the best speeches I've ever witnessed. A brilliant balance of heartfelt and fun.

Onto the evening, these guys ripped up the dancefloor. As the evening air cooled there was an evident "second wind" in everyone's sails. We got at it and cut some rugs.

My favourite moment of the day was seeing Dom, the groom, really soaking in the moment during confetti - and hearing a snippet into his journey to becoming the man he's proud to be today.

To you both, and Simon (Their delightful greyhound). Have a wonderful marriage. Look forward to a brew soon.

Harry & Poppy's super chill wedding at the Black Friar in Manchester.

My couples are always mint. Harry & Poppys' Central Manchester wedding was 10 hours of laughter with a bit of happy crying in the middle. Things we've seen couples spend weeks deliberating on were decided at the very last minute, including the song Poppy was going to walk down the aisle to. It just goes to show that if you're marrying the right person, the rest doesn't matter. The Black Friar is a venue I hope to have reason to go back to soon. Each room has so much character, You can go from dark and moody in one room to bright and fresh in another - no matter the weather. The staff were super attentive and the food was excellent.

Skip to the dance section at the end to see a guest hit herself in the face with my 360 camera. Heh.

Absolutely nuts. The entire day was a whirlwind. From setting up cameras on the giant stage, to mic'ing up Philip in a packed out Weatherspoons (where a table of randomers starting singing "going to the chapel" at him at 10am in the morning), to filming one of the most emotional first dances I've ever had the honour of capturing. We laughed and we cried and we celebrated love. I still have to pinch myself about this one!

Martin, Philip, thank you for trusting me. Long may your love last!
